Be inspired by this artisan handmade graciously-sized woven basket that's playfully crafted in a warm pastel colorway and bold abstract design. This piece is truly a timeless piece of art that deserves to be featured in any space. Let it bring a sense of comfort and joy to you and your home!

This functional and stylish piece of art is curated from sustainably sourced raffia and banana fibers by groups of women in intimate communities across Uganda in an ethical, fair trade environment. Raffia is harvested by extracting liquid from the raffia palm tree and is naturally green, but after being stripped and dried by the brilliant rays of Uganda sunshine, it turns into a neutral beige. Once fully dried, the strands are dyed with organic dye, then the artisans hand-weave these beautiful baskets in their homes.
