We can assure you that your product won’t run dye if you wash it carefully by hand with a PH neutral soap. Due to the natural dyes used in your products, colored water may run on the first washes, especially with indigo dyed fabric. This is completely normal and won’t stain other fabrics.
Air dry only, please. This will avoid shrinking and felting.
Avoid direct sunlight for long periods of time. This will allow colors to fade in brightness faster.
Our artisan partners handcraft each textile using high-quality materials and processes. To keep your Zuahaza textiles looking new, please download the complete Product Care Guide.
Honoring makers, culture and craft, Zuahaza is a social enterprise designing and weaving unique home textiles in Colombia.
Ethically Made Home Goods for the Conscious Consumer. We are a group of passionate artisans and designers crafting home textiles between our creative lab in Bogotá and our production studio in Charalá, Colombia.
We are a team of women from diverse cultural backgrounds sharing one national territory, and one common mission: to preserve and revitalize our traditional crafts through collaborative design and knowledge exchange.
We value our earth and its resources. We advocate for a better textile industry of circularity. We believe in creating the most sustainable products we can by committing to only use organic, biodegradable materials and processes, saving water and eliminating the negative impact of harsh chemicals on our soils.
With any leftovers, we create smaller items out of the scrap fabrics and reutilize the small threads in fertilizers in our cotton farms.
