With a vibrant indigo blue spiral design, this handwoven basket will provide a fun and stylish flair for your home. Use the small and medium baskets as fruit bowls, catchalls, or shelf decor. Each woven basket has a loop on the back for easy hanging, and the duo looks amazing on a blank wall.

Responsibly sourced and thoughtfully crafted with natural sisal fibers threaded over a core of locally-gathered forest grasses by Fair Trade artisans in Rwanda. The weavers begin in the middle of the basket, carefully threading the sisal around and around to create this beautiful design. The tea color is created when the naturally-white sisal fibers are steeped in Rwandan-grown tea leaves.

The traditional Rwandan heritage is on full display in every Azizi Life woven piece. All of Azizi Life’s baskets and decor are crafted sustainably with renewable local materials in forty artisan cooperatives across Rwanda. Their beautiful products support the artisans, their families, and the local development of multiple African communities. They are a Fair Trade Federation member and pay fair living wages to the artisans for their expertly crafted pieces.
